Horse Portrait Lead Times
I understand the anticipation of commissioning a bespoke artwork, which is why I take pride in delivering exceptional portraits without unnecessary delays. From the moment you place your order, you can trust that your painting is in expert hands—crafted with skill, precision, and efficiency.
- Waiting time – 3 months – my current waiting time is around 3 months but is variable and your portrait may be ready sooner.
- Urgent deadlines – 2 weeks – Let me know your deadline as soon as possible as I am usually able to adjust my list to accommodate and have your portrait ready within 2 weeks.

Oil Portraits
Oil portraits offer a timeless and luxurious way to capture your horse with depth, richness, and exquisite detail.

Materials, Sizing & Framing Guidance
- Prices listed are for portraits and fine art.
- For graphic design and illustration please ask for a quote.
- Pencil, pastel and watercolour portraits are drawn or painted on paper that is 1″ larger on all sides to allow the mount to sit on top when framing.
- Canvas and canvas board sizes are exact.
- Portraits in oils are painted on high quality stretched fine weave canvas unless canvas board is requested instead.
- Canvas board is generally easier to frame and will fit all ready made frames.

From Photo to Painting
I’ll assist you in choosing the perfect photo, composition, and portrait details. We’ll finalise the size, medium, and any specific requests. Once everything is agreed, your portrait will be scheduled.
Payment & Delivery
When your artwork is complete you’ll be offered secure ways to pay online and your portrait will be securely packaged and delivered to you with free tracked, insured shipping.
